In this session, the presenters will be speaking about the future of manufacturing with valuable insights from specialists working within the industry. We will explore a variety of future technologies that will help us progress onto the next industrial revolution.
Background
This event will recap on the Made Smarter Innovation Programme, and where it fits with the UK’s aspiration to incorporate digital technologies into Manufacturing Industry to improve productivity from the Made Smarter review in 2017.
We will discuss what the Research Centres concept is, and why we are using it as a delivery mechanism in the programme.
You will have the opportunity to hear from some of the projects that have been funded, and an opportunity to start to build contacts so you can be involved in the Innovation Hubs as they form and grow.
We aim to further build our innovation network and reach out to all the communities within Manufacturing, Digital Technology providers, innovators, founders, other networks, and communities that could support cross-sector tech transfer.
This session is open to anyone wanting funding for digital technology innovation in the manufacturing sector, such as manufacturers, RTO’s and Digital Technology Innovators.
