Made Smarter is a government-backed initiative, providing grants, advice and support to manufacturers in the North West.
Made Smarter offers support to help your business to:
- Improve capacity
- Maximise efficiency
- Reduce lead times
- Increase profits
- Upskill employees
So far, over 2500 North West manufacturers have accessed support and advice from our team.
How does Made Smarter work?
- Register for the Made Smarter programme. During the registration, we'll ask you questions about your business and your areas of concern.
- A Made Smarter Advisor will schedule a call to and carry out a Business Assessment to determine your eligibility and areas we may be able to advise in.
- We will then schedule a workshop where our team will work with yours to scope out a roadmap for your digital transformation journey.
- Made Smarter will work with you to adopt digital technology through technical advice, workforce development and grant funding.
What manufacturing grants are available from Made Smarter?
Made Smarter may be able to help you with support and funding for your digital transformation. We can help you access grants to purchase new technology. Up to 50% match funding (Maximum of £20,000) is available for equipment and/or specialist advice to implement projects.
We can also offer guidance on creating an effective digital roadmap to ensure the technology is taking your business in the right direction.
